Is NixIt Coach HIPAA compliant?
NixIt Coach is built for coaching practices, which are not covered entities under HIPAA. Client data is encrypted in transit and at rest, hosted in the United States, and governed by a data processing agreement available on request. If your practice bills under a clinical license, talk to us before onboarding.
Do my clients need to download an app?
No. Clients use NixIt in a web browser on any device. On a phone it installs as a home screen app from the browser. SMS support is available on NixIt's AI tier.
Can a parent or caregiver see a client's information?
Only if the client shares it. NixIt is user-governed on the client side. A client can add a parent, partner, or caregiver to their circle and choose what that person sees. The coach does not control that setting and cannot override it.
Who owns the session notes?
The coach. Notes, forms, and AI Notetaker output are governed by the coach's contract with the client, and NixIt is the platform, not the authority over that relationship.
Can I bring my existing clients?
Yes. Send each client an intake link. Submitting it creates their NixIt account and connects them to your practice.
What if I already use SimplePractice or Paperbell?
Run NixIt Coach alongside it during the 30-day trial. Most coaches move their caseload over once clients are connected and the between-session layer is live, because that is the part the other tools do not have.
